LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Design & Content Platform team, a group focused on enabling product teams across the organization to build high-quality digital experiences faster and more efficiently with our client based in Minnesota. This role is ideal for someone with a strong platform mindset, a passion for systems thinking, and a proven track record of driving initiatives forward in ambiguous or evolving environments.

This engineer will leverage our component library, content management system, and other tools to create a platform used by engineers, designers, product owners, and content managers. Your goal will be to empower internal teams by delivering the infrastructure, workflows, and tools that improve productivity and speed to market.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build platform-level solutions that integrate with and extend systems like our Content Management System and our Component Library to deliver consistent, scalable experiences.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, product, and content stakeholders to understand pain points and opportunities for enablement.
• Champion systems thinking and composition, building solutions that work across teams and domains while maintaining quality, maintainability, and flexibility.
• Drive initiatives forward independently—navigating ambiguity, identifying risks, and breaking down complex problems.
• Foster collaboration, creating a culture of shared ownership and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in platform or enablement-focused roles.
• Strong background in modern front-end development, including React and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to work in ambiguous problem spaces and move projects forward without rigid direction.
• Proactive and action-oriented, with a bias toward execution and improvement.
• Comfortable collaborating across functions and building strong relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience and drive for composition and systems thinking.
• Experience with content management systems and component libraries is a plus but not required.

The base range for this contract position is $55 - $85 per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
