Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee a large and complex program comprising several mission-critical and diverse projects. This program encompasses the engineering of new products, preparation of manufacturing sites, ensuring supply chain readiness, and aligning sales strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating sales and service teams, establishing customer service and aftermarket readiness, and ensuring the availability of parts and distribution centers capable of rapid response.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a large-scale program, orchestrating delivery across multiple workstreams to ensure the successful execution of diverse projects.
- Provide strategic direction and challenge assumptions, focusing the team on key priorities to drive the initiative forward.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to oversee the development and introduction of new products, ensuring alignment with market needs and operational capabilities.
- Work closely with supply chain and manufacturing teams to prepare sites for production and service of new products.
- Develop and implement training programs for sales and service teams to ensure effective product knowledge and customer engagement.
- Establish and maintain readiness for customer service and aftermarket support, including inventory management and rapid response capabilities.
- Align sales strategies with program objectives to maximize market impact and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor program progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Foster a collaborative environment among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficient communication. Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Strategic Program Management experience
- Extensive experience in managing large-scale programs, particularly in the HVAC and manufacturing sectors.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, from engineering through to customer service and aftermarket support.
- Proven ability to provide strategic direction and challenge the status quo to drive results.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a focus on prioritization and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
