Job Description
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to partner with our Real Estate and Technology resources to plan, execute, and finalize office moves. This role requires developing and managing detailed project plans, creating, and disseminating project status reports, acquiring resources, and coordinating the efforts of cross functional project teams to meet critical deadlines according to plan. Additionally, being self-motivated with the ability to work independently is needed. Critical thinking and effective written and oral communication skills are a must. Candidates with a background in technology, preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact between Real Estate and Technology
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Create, execute, and manage project plans using Microsoft Project and/or Excel spreadsheets to track milestones, deliverables, and daily tasks.
- Work with various teams in gathering and submitting cost estimates for the technical aspects of the project.
- Work with resource managers to assign personnel needed to achieve project goals.
- Effectively manage change in project scope, priorities, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Schedule and lead project meetings (incorporate meeting agendas and follow-up minutes).
- Facilitate the flow of information both internally and externally via efficient, timely, and professional communication with the project team, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Identify potential risks and devise contingency plans.
- Support moves by managing field technicians and vendor partners. This requires the ability to be available on weekends and off hours, including traveling to project sites, as needed.
- Develop relationships with project team members as well as stakeholders for the success of the project.
- Bachelor's degree required (focus in Business/Finance or Technology preferred).
- 4+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity including some experience in office moves/adds/changes. Technical background highly preferred.
- A general understanding of the construction management process with detailed knowledge of the technical aspects including but not limited to audio visual, phones, physical security, low voltage, cable management.
- PMP Certification is preferred.
- Experience in Bluebeam Revu is preferred.
- Strong familiarity with project management software including Microsoft Project.
- Familiarity around standard documents affecting real estate projects, including agreements/contracts, surveys, and construction drawings (CAD, low voltage diagram, etc.,).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to confidently address conflict and manage stressful situations.
- Ability to work well within a team environment, maintain a positive attitude, manage, and coordinate multiple concurrent projects on different tracks.
